Amelia Wilson, Executive Director of Huna Heritage Foundation gave a webinar on August 30, 2022 on the Huna Heritage Digital Archives, which received the Archives Institutional Excellence Award from the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries and Museums (ATALMS) in 2019.
Amelia Wilson shares: The webinar tells the story of how our digital archives came to be and how we have grown and developed. The Huna Heritage Digital Archives preserves local histories, promotes access and use, and fosters intergenerational connections.... Representing a small, rural, and remote Alaska Native village, we show how our story can be valuable to similar establishments wanting to start or further develop their digital heritage preservation efforts.
