I have been looking for some time to improve my sync between DAW's and midi hardware sequencers. Blokas created the Pisound which is a hat for a Raspberry Pi that provides a serial midi interface and a hi quality audio interface. Using McLaren Labs RTPMIDI software I was able create an extremely low latency, low jitter networked midi device. It is highly possible the quest to solve midi jitter issues in my setup has been solved.
