Описание: The present research introduces a new approach to filtering preprocessing algorithms based on the properties of raw data. The proposed method creates rules for selection criteria that an expert analyst would use, but in an automated and objective way, eliminating the need for trial-and-error alternatives. The MATLAB toolbox presented quantifies the noise in the data and the multiplicative and additive scatter effects, to decide which preprocessing algorithms should be iterated to correct the spectra. The toolbox helps the user choose the best preprocessing methodology for their data, resulting in optimal PLS models that are better than what a non-expert analyst would obtain by trial-and-error and in considerably less time
