The Themes from EastEnders and Howards Way. The Shadows cover.

Описание: EastEnders is a British soap opera; the first episode was broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 19 February 1985 and it’s still running now !

Howards' Way was a television drama series produced by BBC Birmingham and transmitted on BBC One between 1 September 1985 and 25 November 1990.

Both the title tunes were written by the same person Simon May.

The Shadows made their own guitar based version of these title tunes into a medley for their 1987 album “Simply Shadows”

My version is a cover of The Shadows medley.

The Backing track came from Ian McCutcheon's workout 7. We added drums for the beginning part of the Eastenders theme to match the TV version.

(I haven’t seen the Tabs so they may well be Tab'd in different string/fret positions to the way I have played it.)

I used my Fender Stratocaster 56nos fitted with Kinman Impersonator 54 V3 pickups on bridge position.
Into an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with Charlie Hall’s Echoes from the past (EFTP) Patch 0-36. And into cubase SX5 on the computer via an external sound card.

Video made with 3x Sony SR 12 and a smartphone and edited with the cubase sound in Sony Vegas Pro 9.
