My name is Lincoln Pemberton aka Michael Manli from Raw Syndicate, and I want to take you behind the scenes of how I created the cinematic short for my video game, Battle of the Forsaken.
It all started with designing my characters in Character Creator 4, then creating realistic cinematic renders using an ARRI Alexa camera setup in Higgsfield. After nearly 200 renders—and burning through about $200 in credits—I finally landed the exact photos and angles I was looking for.
From there, I imported everything into Cinema Studios in Higgsfield, where I rendered around 70 video shots from multiple angles to build out each scene. Prompting is key—if you’re not careful, you’ll get a lot of AI slop—but solid editing can fix almost anything.
Next, I used ElevenLabs to generate voices for each character based on the script I wrote. Finally, I brought everything into iMovie, pieced the scenes together, and added frame-by-frame foley sound design to really bring the world to life.
