Pinpoint vs Platform Serve - Pros and Cons

I've used both the platform and pinpoint service motions. I find that there are specific pros and cons to both. Obviously both motions work. Nick Kyrgios uses pinpoint and Roger Federer uses platform, that's all the evidence you need. But personally, I find I get more power with pinpoint but my kick second serve is less effective. Let me know your thoughts!
