Описание: This recording of La Colombe by Brel is from his 1960 "American Debut" album. The 1967 Baez recording was a new version of Brel's song with lyrics by Alasdair Clayre. Judy Collins also recorded the song in English in 1966. For all of us who hated our involvement in the Vietnam War, Baez symbolized resistance. The stirring arrangement by Peter Schickele and her dramatic rendition of the song was not heard very often and remains obscure. It appears on her album "Joan." Both songs were uploaded from vinyl albums via a USB connected turntable.
