Описание: Kannur was rocked by the killing of a BJP worker on Wednesday, within two days of the murder of a CPM man at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s home town on Monday. BJP activist Ramith Kollanadi, 26, a lorry driver, was killed at Pinarayi, apparently in retaliation for the murder of CPM Kuthuparamba local committee member Mohanan on Monday morning. Ramith was hacked on his head and neck near a petrol pump at Olayambala, a few metres from his house. Though he was taken to the Cooperative Hospital, Thalassery, by excise officials and later to Indira Gandhi Cooperative Hospital, his life could not be saved.
