Gary Stanton is a junior at the University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Entertainment Industry Management. His songwriting career began at 16 years old, but he started writing country music at 18 because he liked the story-telling aspect of it.
Stanton's music can be described as conservative. He strives to represent the "good ol' boy" of classic American upbringing, keeping God first in his life and in his music. His songwriting is inspired by anything as varied from current events to being in love -- topics that people can relate to.
