Описание: What is going on everybody? Welcome back to The Rat’s Nest! This is Chrome Rat, and today we are shifting gears into something a little faster than our usual wasteland stroll. We’re diving into Katana ZERO, a 2D neon-noir action platformer that feels like "John Wick" as a sidescroller.

If you recognize the pixel art style, it’s because the same artist worked on Look Outside, which we covered recently. But don't let the retro look fool you—this game is incredibly lethal. You play as a katana-wielding assassin addicted to a drug called Chronos, which gives you precognitive powers and the ability to manipulate time.

🕒 Precog and Playback
The core mechanic is a one-hit-kill system. Everything dies in one strike—including you—which brings a Ghostrunner level of brutality to the table. Every room is essentially a combat puzzle. You plan your "precognition" run, execute it in a blur of steel and bullet-deflecting, and then watch a real-time "security footage" replay of your path of destruction. It’s stylish, fast, and remarkably satisfying when you finally nail a room.

💊 The Chronos Habit
The story is much darker than I expected. Between missions, we’re dealing with a mysterious therapist, managing a heavy drug dosage, and trying to ignore the hallucinations that come with it. We’ve already botched a scientist's extraction (his head literally exploded) and infiltrated a high-end hotel while wearing a bathrobe and carrying a "family heirloom" sword. The dialogue system is real-time, meaning if you’re impatient and cut people off, they’ll definitely remember it.

🏨 Murder at the Hotel
We successfully took out Josh Rose, a tech billionaire, but the escape was the real highlight. After being cornered by the police while soaked in "bath products" (definitely not blood), we managed to talk our way out of the building. We’re currently 9 days away from... something, and the mysterious "Dragon" serial killer is still on the loose. I have a feeling our paths are going to cross sooner rather than later.
