Can I finish this all in 30 minutes to win the $195 prize? How about I add pepperoni to make it the largest challenge ever attempted at Pudge's? Still not hard enough? How about I attempt to eat it neatly? Instagram: @Notorious_BOB Facebook: @RealNotoriousBOB Twitter: @Notorious_BOB
This is the 3rd video in my "neat eating" series. I am attempting to not only finish the challenge but also do it as neatly as possible.
I will not do anything that I wouldn't normally do if I was out to dinner with my family. I will not smash the food, take it apart, use my fingers to pull the meat out, no jamming fries into my mouth, no getting my hands covered in ketchup, I won't wear gloves, I will get my own beverages if there is not wait service, I will immediately pick up anything that falls, no burping, no swearing...you get the point by now.
This is a place of business and I will treat it as such. Will I be eating a ton of food? YES! The difference is I will eat it respectfully.
Will it be harder for me to eat like this? I would say it will make it nearly impossible. This is a next level challenge. If I can't do it, then you know that you can't either. You will know that you will have to eat messy to stand a chance on winning.
This is actually the 3rd time I have tried this challenge. First time was over 10 years ago. Each time the food (not including the drink) weighed 8.5 lbs. They use the same sized tray for the fries the entire time. The fries weighed 3.5 lbs. It is impossible to get 5 lbs of fries in that tray. Can't happen, won't happen, never happened. As for the cheesesteak, the challenge roll is the same one they sell all day long in the store. It is 20" long so it isn't even two feet. You can only put so much meat on it. Mine was a little heavier than Radim's as I had the pepperoni but they were both 5 lbs. I'll say it one last time, this is an 8.5 lbs of food challenge no matter what you read anywhere else on the internet. If you read it is a 6 lb challenge, that info is at least 10 years old or they got ripped off 2.5 lbs of food LOL. If you read it is more than 8.5, lets say over 9 to be safe, then that is just not accurate and I use those words to be polite. Pudge's pre sorts their fries and they are individually bagged. In the challenge they use 5 bags. Radim and I weighed one bag and it was 12.5 ounces pre cooking. That comes to 3.9 lbs pre cooked or 3.5 lbs afterwards.
