We've got trailers incoming, and Supergirl has sparked the excitement and curiosity of many. But, what I find most fascinating is how this movie is not only doing a comic book adaption of the Woman of Steel, but also in how it's actually adapting a specific storyline from the comics- Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. And, believe it or not, direct adaptations like this aren’t very common within the world of capes and tights. So; why is this? How come other mediums getting the big budget translation are more faithful to their source material? And how do I think Supergirl'll work out? Let’s discuss.
