Описание: The ceremonial opening of the Faculty of Engineering Technology and Bio System Technology, University of Jaffna was held on the 18th August 2022 at Ariviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi. Hon. Minister of Fisheries Douglas Devananda, the Secretary to the Ministry of Higher Education, Mr Thumilan Sivarajah, the Chairman of the Blue Ocean Group of Companies, Mr. Nihal Ranasingha, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor Sampath Amaratunge, the Secretary of the University Grants Commission Dr. Priyantha Premakumara, the Member of the University Grants Commission Senior Professor Ms. Vasanthy Arasaratnam, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jaffna were present at the ceremony.
The building was constructed by Link Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, the construction arm and proud member of the Blue Ocean Group of Companies. It is the largest floor area building in the Jaffna university history with modern lecturer halls, auditorium, laboratory etc.
It is also the 9th remarkably completed project in Link Engineering's portfolio in the Northern Region.
