In a major move aimed at a shake-up in the CBI ahead of choosing its new Director, the government on Thursday removed the agency’s special director Rakesh Asthana and Joint Director Arun Kumar Sharma along with two other key officers, curtailing their tenure at CBI with immediate effect.
