In collaboration with Advanced Manufacturing Queensland, our internal R&D and manufacturing partner, we put every component through rigorous testing to exceed standards. In this video, AMQ Mechanical Engineer Sean Moesbergen demonstrates how we validate our mine spec brake bar.

The brake bar was re engineered to reduce weight while maintaining strength, analysed using hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis, and designed with a 2.5 safety factor.

It was then tested to 180 kilograms, the highest required load under Australian regulations, plus an additional 5 percent. It returned to its original form with no deformation.

This real world validation was conducted in a custom test jig designed by AMQ’s engineering team.
