This fly is my go to point fly when fishing Rutland and Grafham water. On the point on a fast sinking line I like to let it sink on a slow fig of 8 retrieve to drop though the depths until I contact the fish and then it lets me know at what potential deptht he fish are holding.
It never really lets me down its a great fish finding pattern
Hook: - Kamasan B175 Size 14-8 or Barbless Equivalent
Thread: - Sheer 14/0 Black
Tail: - Definite Advantage Silver/Gold Razor Flash
Body: - 6mm Black Micro Chenille
Wing: - Definite Advantage Silver/Gold Razor Flash
Its a great fly can also be tied using Olive Chenille
