When I go to uni, I'm going to be studying performing arts drama which I'm looking forward to. It's a three year course and I can't wait for the journey. I love drama because I'm allowed to become someone else and feel the reaction of the audience. I like the fact that when I get on stage and the audience is interacting with me, we're feeding off each other's energy and I know that it's a good play once there's smiles, I see them engage, their faces are horrified and there's something bad happening and when the baddies come in and they go "boo", I just think that's amazing. When I was thirteen, I went to Harris Academy, Bermondsey and I had a drama teacher called Miss Jean-Baptiste and she was the best drama teacher I ever had. She kind of pushed you and made you do crazy things and for me, at the time, it was like a lesson for me to be crazy, let everything out. Then she was like: "I think you should do your Drama GCSE early because you're really good but I thought "Ah, it's nothing". But then my sister told me that I think you should drama. It wasn't until I was 16 that I thought, maybe I should do drama 'cause I did miss it, not doing it, but doing it outside. I chose to go uni instead of drama school 'cause I want to have the ultimate uni experience to see different people. I want to hear about different lectures they're going to, different subjects. I didn't want to go to a place where everyone's the same. I wanted to go to a place where I feel more free. Instead of going to a drama school where everyone's doing the same thing and everyone's competitive. In order to get into the character, you've got to get into the year they're living in, what period they're from, what kind of emotions they feel at that specific time. I rehearse with other people, especially students who do drama. In five years time I would love to open my own theatre company. I would love to also be doing drama but I would love to open my own company and work with others as a family. Because that's what I've learn doing drama - we become a family. You argue but you love it 'cause they're pushing into doing, bring out different emotions, the rehearsal is fun, even though it's tiring but technical rehearsal is the most amazing thing for you to do. I like to see the expressions on others and how they feel when they're doing it as well. I would like to have the audience come see stuff that I've done with others. You know, I'm responsible for this and I like that. So yeah...
