The 5pm open for CBS affiliate KFMB in San Diego, California.
Last week, KFMB started using the new "Pixel Lens" look that is in progress of rolling out across TEGNA's stations. This includes new graphics, open, modified lower thirds and music. There are still many elements of the outgoing/current package. KFMB also brought back the "News 8" branding (at least in the open) after briefly ditching it a few years back.
It is currently unknown who is behind the refresh, but Made Music Studio is behind the new theme. No voiceover is heard in the open.
