Описание: ”May” is used for possibility, for example: I may invite her. | ho skta hai mai usey invite krun
“Might” shows possibility in past, for example: I might invite her. | shayed mai usey invite kr deta
“Can” shows ability, for example: I can sing well. | mai acha gaa skta hun
“Could” shows ability in past, for example: I could sing well. | mai acha ga skta tha or mai acha ga ska
”Shall” is used with I/We in Future Tenses. I shall go. | mai jaon ga
”Will” is used with He/She/It/They in Future Tenses. She will meet. | wo miley ge
“Would” is past of will, and used for future particularly when we’re in past, and talking about future. I decided that I would go. | mai ney socha k mai jaon ga.
“Should” is past of shall and, used for sharing opinion/suggestion. I should eat. | mujey khana chahiye
”Must” is stronger form of Should. I must eat. | mujey zarur khana chahiye

Modal Verbs + Be + Noun

He may be a teacher. | شاید وہ ایک استاد ہو۔
He might be a teacher. |شاید وہ ایک استاد تھا۔
He can be a teacher. |ہو سکتا ہے وہ ایک استاد ہو۔
He could be a teacher. |ہو سکتا تھا وہ ایک استاد ہوتا۔
I shall be a teacher. | میں ایک استاد ہوگا۔
He will be a teacher. وہ ایک استاد ہوگا۔
He would be a teacher. وہ ایک استاد ہوگا۔
He should be a teacher. اسے ایک استاد ہونا چاہئے۔
He must be a teacher. اسے ضرور ایک استاد ہونا چاہئے۔

Modal Verbs + Be + Adjective

He may be fine. | شاید وہ ٹھیک ہو۔
He might be busy. |شاید وہ مصروف تھا/ہو۔
He can be sad. |ہو سکتا ہے وہ اداس ہو۔
He could be happy. |ہو سکتا تھا وہ خوش ہوتا۔
I shall be good. | میں اچھا ہونگا۔
He will be tall. وہ لمبا ہوگا۔
He would be shocked. وہ حیران ہوگا۔
He should be brave. اسے بہادر ہونا چاہئے۔
He must be strong. اسے ضرورمضبوط ہونا چاہئے

Modal Verbs + Be + Verb (ing)

He may be writing something. | شاید وہ کچھ لکھ رہا ہو۔
He might be writing something. |شاید وہ کچھ لکھ رہا تھا/ہو۔
He can be writing something. |ہو سکتا ہے وہ کچھ لکھ رہا ہو۔
He could be writing something. |ہو سکتا تھا وہ کچھ لکھ رہا ہوتا۔
I shall be writing something. | میں کچھ لکھ رہا ہونگا۔
He will be writing something. وہ کچھ لکھ رہا ہوگا۔
He would be writing something. وہ کچھ لکھ رہا ہوگا۔
He should be writing something. اسے کچھ لکھ رہا ہونا چاہئے۔
He must be writing something. اسے ضرورکچھ لکھ رہا ہونا چاہئے

Modal Verbs + Be + Verb (3rd)

A story may be written by him. | شاید ایک کہانی اس سے لکھی جائے۔
She may be invited in the party. | شاید اس لڑکی کو دعوت میں بلایا جائے۔
A story might be written by him. |شاید ایک کہانی اس سے لکھ لی جاتی۔
She might be invited in the party. | شاید اس لڑکی کو دعوت میں بلایا جاتا۔
A story can be written by him. |ایک کہانی اس سے لکھی جا سکتی ہے۔
She can be invited in the party. | اس لڑکی کو دعوت میں بلایا جا سکتا ہے۔
A story could be written by him. |ایک کہانی اس سے لکھی جا سکتی تھی۔
She could be invited in the party. | اس لڑکی کو دعوت میں بلایا جا سکتا تھا۔
A story shall be written by him. | ایک کہانی اس سے لکھی جائے گی۔۔
We shall be invited in the party. | ہمیں دعوت میں بلایا جائے گا۔
A story will be written by him. ایک کہانی اس سے لکھی جائے گی۔۔
