Check out the highlights from Round One at the 2023 WNFR Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Bareback rider Rocker Steiner overpowered Risky Business and earned eighty seven points. In steer wrestling, record-setting NFR first-timer Dalton Massey made a statement with a three point five second run to close the Go-Round. Team roping was claimed by Clint Summers and Jake Long with a four point two second run and moved up six spots in the PRCA World Standings. Saddle bronc riders Kade Bruno and Zeke Thurston were eighty six point five points to split the round win. In tie-down roping, John Douch was seven point seven seconds on a night when eight cowboys were within one point two seconds of each other. Barrel racer Sissy Winn won with a thirteen point seventy one second run and Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi was only four hundredths behind. In bull riding, Ky Hamilton won with an eighty six point five point ride on Cervi Championship’s Vitalix Theodore.
