Our clinic pioneers in laser refractive procedures and first to have Custom laser correction platform. One of the earliest to acquire Intralase (femto second) blade-less LASIK. We are the pioneers in SMILE. First to start epithelium-on ACCELERATED C3R for keratoconus. We are amongst the earliest in India to start SELECTIVE LASER TRABECULOPLASTY. Dr. Arulmozhi Varman is the driving force behind Uma Eye Clinic, which is famed for the largest number of Multifocal IOL's successfully completed in India.
He is the pioneer in Phacoemulsification in India and has been invited to perform and teach Phacoemulsification in various countries across the world.
He is a man who is constantly revolutionizing the field of eye care in India. He is a man with many talents who also wants to give back to the society and thus founded the Vision Foundation and Eye Bank to further this cause.

Mrs. Uma Varman, a professionally trained hospital administrator and is the soul behind Uma Eye Clinic, efficiently managing all departments and facilities.
A multi-talented person, she has also won several recognitions for Uma Eye Clinic including the ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
Vision Foundation the Community outreach wing of Uma Eye Clinic which conducts eye camps in slums and villages around Chennai is her brain child. Under this banner an average of 30 eye camps are conducted every month and over 100 surgeries are performed free for the unaffordable.
