Vortex Cup - The Spice Must Flow: Aggron

Aggron is oft overlooked because he's fairly squishy, dissolves to fighters, and doesn't have low energy moves, but in a cup abounding with rock weakness, he may just be king!

If your opponent likes Galvantula, Talonflame, or Kanto Ninetales lead, Aggron will make quick work or force a terrible swap. Since the safest and most common swaps in Vortex are Froslass and Mandibuzz, the opponent can't rely on safe swaps. Aggron can get you ideal lineup for your other mons!

Or, if you are wary of a fighter lead, Aggron is a great counter-swap if your opponent loves relying on the bulk of mandibuzz or the typing of froslass as their safe swaps. Rain rocks upon them with enough left in the tank to throw a stone edge at whatever may follow!

Aggron can beat most flyers (though Mandibuzz can be IV dependent, so be careful!), the ices, the fires, and the bugs with relative ease. You just need to be careful with lining him up!
