Preethi Zodiac Mixer Grinder Review : Grinding, Juicing and Food Processing

Preethi Zodiac is one of the best options in the market for those who are looking for a mixer grinder with a food processor. It has a 750-watt motor and comes with 5 jars. The three main jars have 500 ml, 1 litre and 1.5-litre capacity. The insta juicer jar has a 1.5-litre capacity and the food processor has 2.1-litre capacity. 

The juicer jar is quite efficient at extracting juice from water-rich fruits like watermelon, apple, pomegranate etc. But not quite apt for starchy vegetables. Also, changing the blades to make it into a blender is a bit difficult.
 
The food processor has the necessary blades and attachments for citrus juicing, kneading, chopping, slicing and grating. 

The main jars are well-designed, durable and aesthetically pleasant. It can make powders of spices like pepper, turmeric and garam masala quickly. But there are some coarse residue left after sieving. The chutney jar is efficient. But need to be at least filled till half capacity for effective grinding.

Though a tad expensive, it is definitely one of the best options for those who need a full-fledged mixer grinder with food processor. Now, if you are not keen on having an insta-juicer, you can opt for Preethi Zion which comes in a similar design.
