On the final day of #BreastfeedingMonth, check out this feature of the "Breastfeeding Buddies Support Group"! This group supports active-duty mothers and babies who choose to breastfeed. It consists of 8 scheduled appointments throughout the baby's first year of life. The appointments are in a group setting with other moms that all delivered during the same week.
Moms are automatically booked for the first appointment after they deliver here at Madigan. If there are moms who wish to join and their babies are older, they can contact Madigan's Breastfeeding (Lactation Consultant) Service at 253-968-2774. They can also contact Pediatrics Clinic Lactation Support at 253-968-1844.
