Hey guys, welcome back to Riding Mind! In today's video, we're taking you to one of the most offbeat places near Darjeeling - Izifiso Majua Backpackers Homestay. Also known as Aranya Bass Homestay, this property is located in Majua, a village near Manebhanjan, from where the trek of Sandakphu starts.

We started our journey from Islampur, where we stayed the previous night. My KTM Adventure 250 and my friends' Honda Hness 350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 took the Fulbari Ghoshpukur Bypass to reach Siliguri. On our way to Majua, we had to cross the treacherous offroads of Manebhanjan, and unfortunately, our friend's Honda Hness 350 had a small accident. But, thanks to the help of a local named Vinod, we were able to fix it temporarily.

Finally, we reached Izifiso Majua Homestay, which is located right in the middle of a jungle. The property is simply awesome! It's a river camp, and the Saujikhola River passes nearby. We booked the property through the Izifiso website and the service quality was too good to explain. The food was excellent and we were blown away by the beauty of the surrounding area.

Majua is an offbeat village of Darjeeling near Manebhanjan, and it's a perfect place for adventure seekers. You can go trekking, rock climbing, or simply enjoy the serene beauty of the place. The village is famous for its offbeat location and we were not disappointed at all!

If you're planning to visit this offbeat destination, then do take the Rohini Road Kurseong or Rohini Road Darjeeling to reach Majua. It's an excellent route, and the journey is breathtaking. The road condition of the Asian Highway from Islampur to Siliguri is also good.
