The new season of online championships is upon us in Le Mans Ultimate, and for the ELMS (with the addition of the LMP3s for this season), round 1 brings us to my favourite circuit, Le Mans!
The weather was a huge factor coming into this, with heavy rain at the start, and it definitely showed with many cars off at turn 1 in the LMP2s and LMP3s. Made sure to hold position, try to avoid incidents, and wait for the dry.
However, as I entered Indianapolis, the LMP2 car next to me spun and hit an LMP3, which stopped it right in front of me, effectively ending my race. Got the repair damage, but I think the amount I was pushing from partly being angry and partly trying to catch up cost us, and I spun again out of the last corner. Decided best to retire after that. Oh well, next week will be better, and will hopefully be a full 100-minute race :D
Side note, shame my livery didn't load in the replay when I made the thumbnail, had a nice umamusume livery for the BMW, hopefully it appears next race.
