This was an interesting one. Most of the basics here were rock solid, with nearly perfect marks in housekeeping, shower quality, and bed quality. However, the common areas of the property were a bit suspect and the room felt like it was only half renovated. The front half was mostly solid, but the back half had a lot of old furniture and some ancient carpet. As it turns out, I bumped into someone who I believe was the manager or owner on my way out. He informed me that the property recently changed hands, and they are actively working on renovations. He even mentioned (without me asking) that the rooms on the 2nd floor are about to get new carpet and furniture. Overall, I get the impression that this property is on the upswing, and it was already pretty solid. I'd definitely stay again. Curious to check back in a bit and see if they have any updated photos of the rooms.
