Sidelight: Beethoven Festival Director and Artist in Residence was in the audience for the Spohr the spectacular performance of the Spohr Octet.
The Quintet for Piano and Winds by Amilcare Ponchielli was recorded in live performance at the Beethoven Festival in 1998.
