Causeway Bay (CWB) is a district in the northeast side of Hong Kong Island bordered by Wanchai to the west and North Point to the east. This is a high energy area of the city with loads of street and pedestrian traffic as well as shopping opportunities.

As mentioned, CWB is very popular for shopping and includes a cluster of malls, centres, department stores and the likes within a short walking distance from the Causeway Bay MTR Station. These include Times Square, Hysan Place, Lee Gardens, SOGO Department Store, IKEA, Windsor House, Fashion Walk as well as several other smaller centres and a giant Don Don Donki Japanese discount shop as well.

✔️There are loads of casual eateries, coffee shops and bars in the district as well as a few hotel options in the area. The very large Victoria Park is in CWB. The district also includes the Tai Hang and Tin Hau neighbourhoods. There are a couple of heritage temples in those neighbour areas. Similarly the Typhoon Shelter on the coastline and the Noon Day Gun are other historically interesting sights in CWB.

✔️Causeway Bay, accessible by trams which pass by the main street of the area, or MTR subway, is a huge shoppers delight. Along with The Sogo Department Store. If you are not out to shop, try visiting during lunch time . The mass of humanity as workers flood out of office towers for lunch is breathtaking. Just stand back and watch or get in the middle of the crush. There are many office tower malls like Hysan or Times Square and a plethora of small mom and pop shops. You are sure to find something to buy.
