You see… we take thoughts very seriously. Too seriously, actually. A single thought can disturb the whole day. A single sentence appearing inside the head can change the mood, the body, the way we speak to people, the way we walk, the way we sit. One small thought says something like, “I am not good enough,” or “Something bad might happen,” or “What if I fail,” and suddenly the heart feels heavy, the stomach tightens, the shoulders drop. And we never question this. We never stop and look. We just assume the thought knows something important. We assume it is telling the truth. Here is the thing… this seriousness we give to thoughts is not natural. It is learned. It is habitual. It comes from one unquestioned idea sitting quietly in the background all the time… the idea that I am the thinker of these thoughts😊.
