Multiple Homes Destroyed In Catastrophic Mudslide, Clean Up Operation In Play

The Community of Forest Falls has been devastated by several massive mud slides that swept through the town yesterday.
Multiple families have lost everything with over a dozen homes completely mowed down by what many described as a 20ft wall of mud.
Multiple homes in the area at first glance appear to be sitting with mud at the ground level of the first floor, however after speaking with home owners, we were shocked to hear that what we are able to see is actually the second of the buildings.
 resident reported they were able to save at least one dog from a house that was demolished but reported other pets of the residence did not survive.
Clean up in the area could take weeks or even months, not including home rebuilds.
Residents stated they received no evacuation warning or flood warning prior to the mudslides rushing through town.
The town is coming together to help each other try and dig out how over many of the homes remain inaccessible due to the massive mud banks.
Fire crews are attempting to help dig out some of the residence out while others that hike through the mud, are attempting to recover what belongings they can from the homes that completely destroyed .
An evacuation order was just issued in the area in anticipation of another rain cell possibly hitting the area later today, that could bring more mud flow.
