The first of two episodes in Churchill, MB, documenting not only the birds, but the unusual ways of living. Some bird highlights: northern pintail, northern shoveler, red necked phalarope, snow goose (including some "blue geese"), Hudsonian godwit, Pacific loon, red-throated loon, merganser, water pipit, white-crowned sparrow, horned lark, Smith's longspur, and willow ptarmigan.
For the railfans among us, a pair of VIA FP9ARMs make a brief appearance early on.
