Описание: Hello from Japan!! In Episode 10 of my Asia diaries, we spent a weekend in Okinawa! It is truly a beautiful, peaceful, and slow-paced place that is perfect for a life reset. Besides beautiful scenery and plenty of activities, the island is also rich with history and culture.

In a perfect way to start our time in Japan, we treated ourselves to a delicious pot of shabu shabu. Our first destination the next day was Shuri Castle, a symbol of the history and culture of Okinawa and the Ryukyu Kingdom. It recently suffered a fire in 2019, so we didn't get to see the castle in its full glory but was able to see how they are reconstructing it. We then explored Cave Okinawa, which is known as an auspicious place for having saved the lives of many people (hear about the stories in the vlog hehe). We could not miss the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. It is one of the world's largest aquariums and has achieved significant feats being the first aquarium to successfully breed manta rays in captivity. The aquarium houses over 700 species of marine life, so it was definitely worth the visit. We even caught a dolphin show!! And just like how we began our trip perfectly, we concluded our time in Japan with a joyous dinner full of song, yummy food, and people dancing.
