Merry Christmas everybody and welcome or welcome back to AllieAnn Stopmotions! This American Girl Doll project was quite challenging at times, especially because I only gave myself 2 weeks to film it but I am proud to say that it is complete and just in time for Christmas! The outside filming was hard because the dolls kept falling over but filming the sledding scene was quite fun! It got really cold last week (-36 at times) so I'm glad I was able to finish them. There were so many different sets to build and as this movie takes place in 1945 I had to make them old fashioned to fit the theme of this stopmotion. Really enjoyed dressing the dolls! I didn't realise that I had so many old fashioned jackets and dresses! Huge thank you to my family for encouraging me throughout the process of making this video and to my sister, brother and mom for voicing some characters. How was your Christmas today? Mine was quite fun and I actually got a new doll! So cool right!? I will be posting a behind the scenes video in January but as for right now I hope your looking forward to some new American Girl stopmotions!
