After V88 got by me at Bradner Road grade crossing, (see #1348) I noticed it had pretty much stopped raining. For sometime I have admired the great, panoramic videos I see from the U.K., so I decided to try something similar. The only location in the entire Fraser Valley that you can do that on the CN mainline is just up the road from where I was sitting. So I moved on to 88th Avenue, just west of 264 Street in Langley Twp. If you look due north it's about Mile 99 of CN's Yale Sub, but you can see a great deal more.
First along was the ubiqutous coal train. This one empty and going back for more is CP#866.CP9751and CP8909 are up front with CP8603 Mid-train and CP8762 on the rear. CP866 originated at the Roberts Bank Coal Terminal in Delta, BC and will terminate in Sparwood, BC, in the province's south-east corner.

N.B.The photographer and cameras did not encroach on the railway right-of-way in taking this video. It is dangerous, foolhardy (and illegal) to enter on railway rights-of-way. Just sayin' ... "You don't stand on a runway to watch airplanes."
