Roberto Di Gioia is a pianist and producer of rare versatility. A longtime member of Klaus Doldinger’s Passport and collaborator with jazz greats like Art Farmer, he also shaped the sound of The Notwist and Max Herre. As a producer, he works with Joy Denalane and leads projects like Web Web and Marsmobil. From Udo Lindenberg to spiritual jazz, he is a key architect of the European scene.

For his solo debut he atmosphere is cinematic and intimate, evoking a touch of David Lynch-esque mystery. Oscillating between rhythmic pulses and free improvisation, the music balances cool Neo-Classical aesthetics with warm Jazz phrasing. These are intimate studies.
