We’re using the Factor Theorem to check whether a binomial is actually a factor of a polynomial, and then we’ll break the whole thing down completely.
Example:
f(x) = x³ − 7x − 6
Check if x − 3 is a factor, then find all factors of the polynomial.
In this video, I’ll show you how to:
✅ Use the Factor Theorem by evaluating f(3)
✅ Confirm whether x − a is a factor based on the output
✅ Use synthetic division to break the polynomial down
✅ Factor the remaining quadratic to get the full factorization
This is one of the fastest ways to solve cubic equations and identify real solutions without guessing.
