My sight is fading, slipping away,
The tender indifference is all but numb to me,
Life is fleeting, and death is eternity,
The only escape to mute the cries of this rotting cacophony,
I want to feel the exhalation,
As I beckon in the void,
Euphoric permanent sedation,
Fill my lungs with soil,
Silence, I need Silence,
I feel I can take no more,
I beg god to cleanse my soul,
All I know is how to cast a stone,
Leave me lifeless, white and cold,
As I bathe in the black of the silence,
Freedom is all I crave.
