Описание: Storm Goretti the first storm of 2026 is coming...Forecasters have estimated that maybe 30cm of snow will fall in the Peak District and with strong winds there will most certainly be blizzards and drifting...We are used to snow every winter here in Buxton and not really had a bad winter since 2018 with the "Beast from the East" but when it snows, it snows...Although it makes the Peak District even more beautiful it can also be fatal...Please don't make any plans in the next 24 hours to go exploring the Peak District and if you are be prepared for the snow especially over the moors or country lanes if you are driving, just stay safe and having lived here for 67 years I know what I am talking about and feel I have to warn you...I hope you enjoy my version of Adagio from Vivaldi's Winter Suite from The Four Seasons composed in 1723...Thanks for Watching and Listening...Les.
