Vincent Kompany says José Mourinho made 'a huge mistake in leadership' in talking about Vinícius Júnior's celebration after he had reported alleged racist abuse. Vinícius told the referee that Gianluca Prestianni had racially abused him during Real Madrid's clash against Benfica, and after the match, Mourinho appeared to criticise Vinícius for his celebration – which he described as “stupid” – after scoring the only goal.
'I know he's a good person. I don't need to judge him as a person and I understand what he's done but he's made a mistake,' said Kompany.
