Wren has stayed to winter here in the cold and is resiliently still alive. Most of the wrens migrate to Central Europe in the autumn and return in the spring. Even in the Southwest-Finland it has been as low as -25 C during the winter, so this individual is a very tenacious bird. Wren has been digging for food in tree trunks and a small area of ​​water that has remained open. So the bird has somehow been able to find insects and larvae to eat in the middle of all the ice and snow.
