As 2021 was a dry year. Croatia's second largest artificial lake, Lake Peruća shows its underwater history and landscape. The dried up terrain of Peruća shows its thousand coastlines and long sunk churches and willages since the flooding of this land when Peruća dam was built in 1958. The most visited sight these days is the original Orthodox Dragović Monastery which is slowly appearing out of the water due to the drought.
