This goes over some of the basics with how to upload files and making sure those areas of your app are secure. Many developers assume that file uploads are fine, or that you just need to whitelist the extensions you want uploaded and you're good. Misconfigured web servers abound and that's no longer true! I'll show you some ways to really make sure the files that are getting uploaded are safe and secure.
