Kangaroo Island, is a renowned South Australian fishing spot with heaps of diverse fishing locations, pristine water and abundance of fish. It is a 'must see' travel destination for anyone who likes to fish.

Being avid fishers, we had to experience KI for ourselves and holidayed there for fourteen days in Autumn. On this holiday (and also during a three-day trip the following Spring) we visited 25 beautiful fishing locations and fished at 18 of them, catching fish every day. We generally only went to each place once and we made videos of what we caught that day and how we caught it. Sometimes we caught fantastic fish and other times we caught nothing or just a few keepers.

We are not expert fishers and use basic equipment (Linda only started fishing the year before our Autumn holiday), so our videos give a realistic view of what an average fisher might experience with a little planning. All up, over the two trips we caught around one hundred and seventy fish of varying sizes across ten different species, which totally amazed us – and it was so much fun!
