The "Krewe of Omega" in Lake Charles , Louisiana, held their annual Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The parade took place at 2 PM in the Downtown Lake Charles Area. However, this year, Washington Marion Magnet High School "Marchin' Jukebox" Band and Lake Charles College Prep (LCCP) "Blazin' Band", both marched in the "Krewe of Omega" parade, this year. However, it's been some years, since high school marching bands, have marched in any Mardi Gras Parades in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Moreover, the "Krewe of Omega" parade route is literally the same route as the Circle 7 Empire "Lake Charles Mardi Gras Parade", "Black Heritage" parade and the "MLK Day Celebration" parade. (Lakeshore Drive, Broad Street, Enterprise Blvd, Mill Street)
