On this seven day California Bighorn Sheep tracking and conservation horse pack trip, our guests journeyed to Brett Camp in the Shulaps Mountains where they learned how to track wild sheep in the mountains. They connected to nature by viewing a mule deer up close. They practiced self-sufficiency by harvesting wild edibles such as mountain sorrel. The group contributed to conservation by learning about the endangered white bark pine tree and completing a white bark pine assessment. For personal development, they learned new skills such as how to track bighorn sheep. Being on the lookout for wild sheep increased the group's awareness of the Chilcotin Ark and learning new wilderness skills brought them a sense of empowerment.
