These toilets are new and we’re only installed when a refurbishment took place back in 2023 or 2024, so basically this costa is detached to the Shopping Centres old public toilets building which sadly closed in 2016 (before I could see what the dryers were). At the time you could access those toilets via an inside door in Costa which meant that Costa didn’t have toilets. As many of you know the new public toilets are situated in the corner of the shopping centre in the “Hello Welcome Centre Building”. Anyway, I suspect this costa has been extended and the new toilets are located where the old staff or storage room was in the PT building next door. I’m not sure why they have suddenly decided to do this after many years of not having any toilets, it could be because they have added additional seating or it could be that the regulations have changed, as of between 2016 - 2023 they must of been getting away with just sending people to the hello welcome centre since it’s relatively close to this building. The Greggs which is near the other end of the retail park has recently refurbished too, but has decided to not install toilets which is a joke since there is over 10 seats and it’s quite far away from the public ones although, the building is so small that i genuinely don’t think they have enough room to install one.
