Medieval Dynasty recently left early access adding a bunch of new content and fixes. I started playing Medieval Dynasty a couple of weeks before full release to compare the early access version to full release. The animal A.I. is much improved no longer standing around while being shot with no noticeable jitter now to their movement. As for a survival mode, the customization options can make it play like a proper survival mode. Given all the stuff there is to do in the game, I recommend playing it through on normal or easy to understand all there is along with how progression works before playing it this way.
