A serious LPG gas cylinder crisis has emerged in Cuttack, Odisha, creating problems for both households and businesses.

Residents claim that domestic gas cylinder bookings are not being accepted, while the supply of commercial cooking gas has reportedly been stopped. Due to this situation, many hotels and restaurants in the city are on the verge of shutting down.

Reacting to the issue, Subas Singh, Mayor of Cuttack, said that the Biju Janata Dal will stage a protest tomorrow against the gas shortage. He urged the Government of Odisha to immediately discuss the matter with the Government of India and resolve the crisis.
