In this lecture, the unfounded and baseless myth promoted by some extremist Akhbaaris is demolished such as al Astarabdi that the Quran can only be understood by the Ahlul Bayt (as), and that the verses of the Quran can only be understood in light of the narrations of the Ahlul Bayt (as) without which we cannot understand anything of the Quran.
The great Usooli scholar, Ayatullah Sheikh Mohammad Ridha Mudhaffar demolished and debunked this myth in his lectures on Usool al Fiqh which were also later published by him in book form, and in this lecture his arguments against this Akhbaari myth are also presented.
